We started the retractable safety hook development process by identifying the customer's need for a hands-free solution for opening doors and handling objects. We then designed a retractable hook with a spring-loaded mechanism for added safety and ease of use. The hook was injection-molded in ABS and Nylon for durability, and a non-corrosive steel spring was added to resist wear and tear. The final product features a sleek finish, fits in any pocket, and can be worn with a retractable clip like an ID card for added convenience.
